1. What is the best trick you have ever played on someone? N
2. If you were given $1,000,000 to use to help other people, how would you spend it? E
3. What things scare you even though you know there is no reason to be afraid? E
4. Describe a time when you succeeded in doing something you thought you would never be able to do. How did it feel? Would
you rather try more ambitious things knowing that you might fail, or try easier things knowing you would be sure to succeed? E
5. If you had to pick an age to be for your whole life, knowing that you would just stay at that age and never grow older, what age
would you pick? E
6. What are some things that happened or that you did this year that you were surprised you liked? What did you learn from
them? E
7. If you could do one thing you are not allowed to do now because you are too young, what would you pick? How would your
life improve because of this? E
8. What do you think your parents worried about when they were your age? How is this different from what you worry about?
What do you think they worry about now? E
9. If you died tomorrow, what are some of the things you would like people to say about you at your funeral? Be sure to back
each up with evidence. E
10. Adults can do more but have more responsibilities; children can play more but are often told what to do. Do you think kids or
adults have a better deal? Who has more fun? P
11. Tell a favorite family story. It could be an event that happened once or something that you do together regularly. N

13. Chose and discuss one or two changes you think need to be made in the world. Give strong, well-developed reasons for the

3. Learn an application/program feature and apply to practice

4. Create or Practice with a project in the following applications: Word, PowerPoint, iPhoto, iMovie, etc
5. Work on a group project 3-5 students per group - 10-15 minutes
6. Sharing personal homepages on the projector - students will practice public speaking 3-5 minutes
If you finish early, do the following ....
7. Do unfinished or late assignments. (peers who tutor other classmates may receive extra credit)
